Homes with a heart is an Australian business that buys houses to create co-living spaces for women aged 40-65. This demographic has statistics depicting increased levels of homelessness, and a decreased quality of life. These circumstances are created following big life changes such as divorce or death of a spouse so Homes with Heart exists to buy homes for these women to co-live and thrive together.

I was asked to create a brand that felt encouraging and warm. It was important to be sensitive to understand Home With Heart's clientele and not make any assumptions. After our initial strategy workshop, our research found that this age of women was not ready to settle down with life, but rather wanted to be engaged and energised for a new chapter. So we set out to design a bright, friendly and warm brand that embraced women from all walks of life.

A Home. A Heart. A Hug. This is the idea that created the logo.

The warm and pastel colour palette complimented to a concept that felt friendly and homely. The brand pillars were key to shaping the brand and allowing the message to span the width of the audiences life situations. So the balance of focus for individuality and social connection was key.
